Eastablished in 1998, An Gaileara? is a professional gallery run by Gaileara? na gCroisbheala? Teo. The project is located in the Donegal Gaeltacht and exhibits quality contemporary visual art. We provide opportunities and support for artists to make and exhibit their work as part of our annual exhibition programme. An Gaileara? has a special interest in developing and commissioning work that draws on traditional cultural sources and/or reflects a Gaeltacht sensibility. Acting as a national advocator of a contemporary cultural expression, An Gaileara? works to extend and promote this experience to other venues and localities by touring.
